Jens Arnholtz Hansen (MA in Social Science, University of Roskilde) has been employed at FAOS since December 2006. He was previously employed as a research assistant at the University of Roskilde from 2005-2006.
Research Areas
Main interests: Danish and European labour marked relations, and changes in there institutional conditions. The social and symbolic construction of European industrial relations. Former projects have focused on different local employment strategies – mainly focusing on the role of firms in the integration of marginalized groups. Furthermore studies on young peoples transition from school to work. One month stay at the University of Zurich in 2006.
Current research/Projects
East European workers in the Danish construction sector. Focusing on both employers experiences with east European workers, and the challenges that the presence of east European workers in the construction sector presents for the Danish model of labour marked regulation.
